I am so excited I captured Cailyn crawling (on all 4) for the first time today. It isn't lightening fast but it is the technique that is important! Merry Christmas family and friends! Wesley’s last day of preschool was December 15th and the children all worked really hard to preform the Christmas Story for us.  It was absolutely adorable!! Thanksgiving this year the whole family went to VA to be with my family.  We decided to travel on Thanksgiving Day (to beat the traffic) and that was the way to go.  It was easy sailing most of the way there and less stress.  When we arrived we were unloaded the car and got straight back in to go to Gaylord’s Madagascar on Ice.  It was so cool (literally and figuratively).  The kids had a blast

Lawson had her first sleepover with the Girl Scouts.  The child was counting the minutes until it was time to go.  It didn’t help that Lawson had Veteran’s Day off of school so unfortunately the day lasted even LONGGGG-ER to her (If you know Lawson you can hear her and her dramatic tones.) I thought I would post a little update since we are about to complete the 1st month of 1st grade.  Everything is going well and we are in a pretty good routine these days.  Lawson is excelling and LOVES her teacher.  After our missed bus incident we have not had any other issues as far as the bus goes. Just a quick little update on how solid foods are going with Cailyn.  Last time I reported that Cailyn was not eating solid food (rice cereal) and we were told to try oatmeal/cereal.  We tried and she loves it.   Then last weekend Collins stopped off at the Farmer’s Market and got me sweet potato for Cailyn. Our hometown idol!! Scotty McCreery!! This weekend we had some professional pictures made of our family.  OMG!  She sent us a preview of our photo shoot and I am blown away at the results.   If you want gorgeous pictures of your family and live in Raleigh, I have got your lady, Kristy Fourshee, she is wonderful to work with and I can’t stop staring at the pictures because they turned out so well.  I can’t wait to see the rest!!

2 weekends ago Collins left town to go Turkey Hunting which left me with 3 kids and a Dog.  Why a dog?  We were dog watching my parents dog, Butler.  I would not of volunteered our services to dog watch normally, but Butler is a great (lazy dog) so it worked out fine. Daddy got some mulch for the play set area and we had 2 eager workers to help him!!  They worked so hard together!
