Wesley's first baseball season

Wesley decided this fall to try something other than soccer and has fallen in love with baseball. He is on a very talented baseball team that is kid pitch and age 9-10 (he is 8.5). He has held his own but most of
the players have played since t-ball. He really enjoys it and that is all that matters. Right now his team is 9-0 with one more game in the regular season (tomorrow). Wesley is slightly intimidated hitting the ball but has told me "mom the chances of me just walking to first base are better than me hitting the ball" haha! Too smart for his own good.
