Easter Egg Hunt

We have had lots of opportunities to go on Easter Egg Hunts this year, but for one reason (misbehavior) or another (misbehavior) we have not been able to attend any.  However, on Saturday the kids had the privilege to go to my friend's church for there annual Easter Egg Hunt.  It was so much fun!!

Here the kids are ready to go search for eggs.

Notice Wesley's Easter Basket.  Mommy made him one, but "Mother-of-the-Year" forgot it!  He wasn't too confused hunting eggs with a cooler.

Once he got the swing of it and got over the fact he was carrying his sister's cooler- he was TOTALLY into hunting eggs.  Especially, when I told him there was candy afterward! BTW-the best smiles you will every get of Wesley is when he is ON-THE-GO!!

Daddy and his little boy!!

Lawson realized Wesley did not have as many as she did and shared some with him.  So Sweet!

 She loves her Daddy!!

Playing on the playground!

Let's see...how much candy am I going to get??? He looks very worried!

This little boy loves some candy!!

Then it was time for a Bible Story.  I could not believe it but my kids listened and sat still the whole time. (If you were with me at Chick-Fil-A the day before you would realize what a miracle this is)

Then when Daddy went to get a picture of this "miracle" Boss-man Wesley was telling daddy to sit down!!  This house is truly filled with 4 bosses.

Because this picture is so angelic I had to post it again!!

All this because we celebrate that Christ has risen!!

Easter Day Pictures will soon follow...

Does it get any cuter?

I am testing out Wesley being in his room during quiet time and not being locked in his crib (his crib has a door) and this is what I found.

Precious! They are such angels when they are asleep.

Smooth Talker

Wesley loves to taunt his sister to the point she is going to lose it, but then he says "I love you sissy, I love you, can I have a hug?"

I hurt myself the other day and it brought me to my knees.  He said "Mommy whats wrong? Don't cry, mommy.  I will take care of you."

The best one is  when he  knows he is not listening and about to get in trouble and he will out of the blue say "You look nice, mommy"  or throws in a compliment "I like your shirt, mommy!

Forewarning Ladies: He is not only cute but a smooth talker...watch out!!

New Addition in our Garage

Bullhorns Collins could not pass up at a yard sale.

I am one lucky lady!

Actually, believe it or not I think the bullhorns are pretty cool. Collins says if I ever get a cadillac it will be on the front of my car! Good thing that is not in our budget!

Photo Shoot with Lawson

At my last MOPS meeting we had a guest speaker talk to us about Photography.  (I love photography and if I had more time I would take a few classes.) There were a couple points she touched on and I decided to try them out with the perfect subject...Lawson

She said the best pictures are the ones without big "cheese" on the kids face (I totally agree)

Kids just being themselves... (not quite, but she is a ham)

I worked on changing out my settings and lighting...this one is really good.

One of my favorites.  I love her hands in this picture.  I love that I was able to capture how she holds her hands and how she still sometimes has a baby belly!!

Then I got her feet.  She is my Flip-flop girl!

Then with a little doctoring up...this one is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE...
All I can say is WOW! Thank you to the lady who spoke at MOPS it was SO HELPFUL!!

McKenna, don't grow up too fast but Lawson can not wait to play dress up with you (and gi ve Wesley a break)!!

Hood-lums

Hood-lums, get it??
Sometimes I just crack myself up!!

I think it is my allergy medicine that is getting to me, because that is really lame but I sticking with it anyway.

It's Raining Flowers

My kids love to pick flowers.  Their pockets/bags/play cars are always full of dead flowers.  My neighbor has a camelia bush that is so pretty (the only thing that is pretty in their backyard) right at our fence line. And no, we do not live next to a junk yard- they like it looking like this.  Please do not enlarge these pictures of their yard- it is scary.

I am getting off track. Sorry!

These flowers perfect to pick...

Then throw in the air!! What fun!!

Then if it is too high ask Mr "Climber Man" Wesley to grab some.

As of today there are only flowers on the "other" side of the fence and none on ours.
Did I do that?

Hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather!
