Am I In Trouble???

I am not sure exactly when it happened but I just realized I can have a full conversation with Wesley these days!! He talks can talk in sentences (with some help understanding) and truly responds to your questions and comments.

Last week while we were at home (Lawson in school) Wesley and I were playing and he said "I in trouble...go to tieout." I was floored. I told him "Wesley what are you in trouble for?" Because he wasn't... He shrugged his shoulders and looked down and said "I donknow" or I don't know.

Well, it has persisted and he will yell out in the middle of playing " I in trouble" and he will escort himself into timeout. I think I am loosing the effectiveness that timeout can bring, but for now it is SO DARN CUTE!!

Can you tell he is sorry for his actions?

Then when he is really in trouble he will look up at you with his big brown eyes and say " I in Trouble????"

Mommy- Do you know what you did?

"I donknow, hit sissy, no tieout"
