35 Weeks and Counting

35 weeks...wow that means 5 weeks to go.  This pregnancy seems to be flying by.

How are we doing?

I am getting a little worn down faster, but that is to be expected.  I am walking a little slower but I am no spring chicken!!  Other then that we are great!  People keep saying I am small but I feel like I am exactly where I should be.  I am okay if I don't have a 8lb 11oz or 8lb 8oz baby this go around.  As long as she is healthy we are happy!!  I go for my 36 week check-up on Thursday so we will see where we are measuring.  I am measuring about 1.5 weeks behind by the measurement tape but I was also with L & W and I DO NOT THINK THEY WERE SMALL by any means!

Also, I am 99% sure we have a name. I am very excited!   I am sure we will be announcing her name before she gets here, but you never know!

Please continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy and healthy delivery!! We are so excited to meet Baby Girl and God only knows when she will be arriving.  I just ask for a little more time because He knows I am the world's best procrastinator!!

34 Weeks and Counting

Here I am at 34 weeks. I have gained 33lbs- thank you holiday foods and goodies and my lack of control!!  Everything is going great.  I feel good and I am really enjoying being pregnant.  I love feeling baby girl move, get the hiccups, and dance when she hears loud music.  She might be a dancer!

It is funny.  My one observation of Baby Girl is when I am getting after at Lawson or Wesley she seems to get real still.  The girl knows..."I better be quiet, mommy means business!"

We have 6 weeks to go.  Collins has been working hard on Baby Girl's Area.  It is starting to look like a baby nursery and really making things real.  I will have pictures up soon.  The hard part is over the cleaning out and painting.  Now is the fun part....decorating. The main decorating will have to wait until after the holidays.  I can only do so much!

Before you ask....no we don't have a name yet!

28 Week Update

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 28 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby Fitts Girl should now be over 2lbs 6oz+
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 18 lbs...the weigh is packing on now

Maternity Clothes: Thanks to my sister I have the best maternity tops and dresses.  Pants are my worst enemy. I hate pants in general but I really HATE maternity pants. Thanks to belly bands I am still wearing my regular pants.  I don't know how long that will last...
Gender: Girl
Movement: She is going to be a dancer!!  The girl loves to bust a groove during the day!
Sleep: I am sleeping good right now. I normally wake up once to go to the bathroom. I love the nights when I don't wake up to go potty.
What I miss: Bending over!

Cravings: None really.

Names: Still can't decide...this frustrates me a little because I would love to call her by name at this point.

Symptoms: None...just keep on keeping on.

Best Moments this week:  The kids giving my belly kisses in the morning.  I love it!!

27 Week Update

I just wanted to give you an update on Baby Girl Fitts. Everything looks WONDERFUL!! At 16 weeks I had placenta previa and was told I have a 2 vessel umbilical cord. Of course they told me not to worry and we would look at everything at 27 weeks. I tried my best not to worry and really was optimistic that everything was going to be okay but there was the small fear of a c-section and slow growth due to the 2 vessel cord. Plus, anytime someone would say "you are so tiny for this being your 3rd kid" it would scare me and really started getting annoying because I would think "is she not growing? why am I so small? what is wrong with me or her?" You know the million questions a mother-to-be has running through her head.

I am happy to say at 27 weeks my placenta has moved and I am on track for a vaginal birth. Then with the 2 vessel cord she is growing right on track. She is approx. 2lbs 6oz and in the 50th percentile. They told me she looks great and to keep on keeping on like I am going and no need to come back for another ultrasound.

They did tell me my due date looks more like Jan 28th as originally given but who knows!! She is VERY LOW and wouldn't be surprised for another quick labor. I am thinking about camping out at the hospital around Jan 27th!!

Now I feel like I can really enjoy the rest of this pregnancy without as much worry.  Thank you Lord for all your blessings.

 I am one happy mommy!!!

I appreciate any of your continued thoughts and prayers as Baby Girl grows.
We will see her in about 3 months!!

Baby Fitts #3 is a...

GIRL!!
The final tally on the poll was 8 for Girl 7 for Boy...You were right if you picked GIRL!

We are were thrilled to find out that our baby is a girl.  She is healthy and looks great.  Lawson was beyond thrilled to find out the news.  She jumped up and down and screamed with delight.  She has already started packing up her room with hopes the baby will share her room (right now that is not the plan.) Wesley doesn't realize he is going to be out numbered! Haha!!

As one of my friends texted me when I told her the news "let the sewing begin" oh I can't wait to start sewing for the new princess in the house!  I think now is the time to buy and embroidery machine!

One request- I would really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers for me and the baby as we continue growing.

(Also, Thanks for participating in my poll!!)

Baby Update

Okay, I don't have any pictures today but I do have some news...

If everything goes to plan we will find out the sex of Baby #3 on Tuesday August 24th.  I will be 16 weeks and 6 days at that point and I am a little concerned it might be too early but as of today that is the plan.

So let's take a poll as to what you think the sex of the baby is!  Poll is on the right hand side and everyone should participate-it's fun!  Results to be annouced on Tuesday.

Have a great weekend!

14 Weeks - Baby #3

I am now officially into my second trimester! Yippee!!  I hate to sound like a bigger idiot then I already am (baby brain) but I thought I was out of my second trimester 2 weeks ago and colored my hair to celebrate.  Oops!

I thought I would post to give an update on how I am doing the baby is doing and so forth.  This time will pass so fast and I know I will forget everything if I don't write it down.

I am feeling great as long as I eat ALL. OF. THE. TIME!  Since I know this about myself I snack constantly and this has seemed to keep sickness away.  Amen to this blessing. With both of my other pregnancies I was sick during the end of the 1st trimester to 18 weeks.

I am tired but I think that is to be expected.  I am probably a little bit more irritable, snappy, and just plain grumpy sometimes but my kids and hubby are tolerant (to a point.)

The children are so excited about the baby's arrival.  Lawson hugs and kisses by belly everyday.  Wesley kisses my belly too and then asks me to kiss his baby in his belly.   Others seem to be excited as well.  Our friends daughter, Siena, asked if she could kiss my belly today.  Kids are so cute!

Lawson is getting ready.  She has money in this bottle which I find ironic since formula and breast milk is liquid gold in my mind!  haha!

Lawson thinks it is a girl.  Wesley thinks the baby is a boy.  I have no clue.  So much for motherly intuition.  I have no feeling one way or the other- healthy is all I care about!

I have not had a second appointment yet and that seems odd to me.  I will go on August 16th.

Don't think of me as weird but since this is my last pregnancy I want to at least document my size every quarter. (I know this is a first pregnancy type thing but- this is for me!)  I am thrilled that I have yet to put on maternity clothes but can feel I will be pulling them out in a week or two.  .

Also, to make it feel a little bit more real Collins and purchased a new bib for Baby #3 this weekend while we bought the rest of the kids treats.  Getting him/her off to a good start!
That's my update!!  We love you Baby Fitts #3!!
