On Monday we went to the National Zoo with my mom and sister. It was a perfect day, warm but not too humid, to go to the zoo!! We saw EVERYTHING!! 9 times out of 10 when you go to the zoo all of the animals are sleeping. The animals were awake and gave a great show! We had a wonderful time!! The kids really seemed to enjoy themselves.

Panda Bears- Okay, one was asleep! The other one we could never find but we did see him scratching his backside on the door

The Sloth Bear- he gave a great show too!
Yep, it was a fun day!!! The only thing missing were the giraffes. Lawson kept on asking to see the giraffes and what do you know they were none at the zoo. They had been moved for construction. Go figure!! I was worried she was going to be upset, but in typical Lawson fashion she shrugged her shoulders and said "okay" and moved on. Good girl!!

This past week was so much fun. Thanks for staying an extra day! The only thing about both of us having a blog now is that we may have the same posts! Haha... love it!
