Moments that melt my heart

It is the unscripted, non-rehearsed, tender-hearted moments while raising 3 kids that touch my heart the most.

Are you my mom?

This is for my memory bank because I am sure in a few years this will be funny!

Wesley has gotten into this bad habit of asking me when we out in public very loudly "are you my mom?" when I answer yes, he follows by saying "are you sure you are my mom?" You should see the looks I get from people! Ugh!

He thinks it is hilarious and he smiles from ear to ear, I don't quite feel the same way! I swear I think he knows what he is doing too!

Crazy boy!

End of the Preschool Year for Wesley

Wesley's school had lots of events towards the end of the school year. At the end of April they had a field day. I was lucky enough to be able to go because my neighbor watched Cailyn. Here is Wes in the bounce house. Poor fellow as a nice good egg!

Steady, steady....

Then to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day the kids had a sweet program for the parents. Wes is just too cool!

Finally, the day came and it was the last day of Preschool. Oh, how my little boy has grown. The teacher was so sweet and told us we should be extra proud because he is very smart and has a heart of gold. Plus she loves his power hugs :).

So,Wesley's will be in per-K next year. Lawson till has 4 more weeks of 1st grade then one week off and she will be a 2nd grader. Cailyn just turned 16months. Wow, time flies.

Now we are enjoying the summer off with at least two of the three kids, however for some odd reason I am totally in the mood of summer and wish Lawson was off too. Oh well. Remind me of this statement come August when I have all three off :)

Field Day

Lawson's school had their annual field day last month in hopes to beat the June heat. I am hear to tell you they didn't beat the heat, it was HOT. It was so hot they had to combine all grades into morning and as the PE said it is "controlled chaos" he might of understated it a little. It was fun, and the kids had fun. I just loved seeing their energy and excitement. Here are some pictures of the day....

Lawson and her best friend, Breanna. She is dancing, Lawson is not.

Two peas in a pod.

Lawson and Mommy.

I did get to meet Jack! Remember the famous Jack from the closet? He is cute!
