New Beginnings

Yesterday was the day!! Our little girl's first day of the 4 year old Pre-school. It was a very exciting day. Lawson didn't really show it at first but she was excited. She got up promptly got dressed on her own, helped pack her lunch and book bag and off we went. I wish it was that smooth, but you get the picture.

If I didn't feel like a chicken with my head cut off I might of been a little sad but since my act wasn't quite together there was no time for tears. Plus, I am not sad, this is a stepping stone in her development and I am excited for her!! She loves school and loves learning...what is to be sad over??? Now next year when she starts Kindergarten might be another story!

Here is my sweet girl on her first day of preschool!! To read about her outfit go here

She loved getting her picture taken this day!! When I went to pick her up from school she didn't want to leave...I think it was a success!

The person who was sad and cried and asked for 'sissy' a hundred times on Monday was Wesley...Oh he missed her! Now that almost made me cry!!

Then today Welsey and I went to MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). Technically it was Wesley's first day of a MOPPETS group. I was a little nervous because he does not do well at the Church Nursery. Let me tell you he was smiling ear to ear when I picked him up. He loved it!! See new beginnings...

My friend, Heather, has been trying to get me involved in MOPS for years and I resisted (not sure why but I did). Let me tell you...I LOVE IT!! I have been missing out, but I am so happy to be apart of this fantastic group of mothers now.

This week Lawson, Welsey, and I are all starting something new and it has been wonderful!!

Lawson looks so sweet in her first day of school outfit. I remember being so excited about school when I was young.

Good for you for joining MOPS it sounds like it was fun.
