Fruit Cobbler Recipe

Per your request here is the recipe. Karen I hope you don't mind...

Fruit Cobbler
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cans fruit pie filling (Collins uses fresh fruit peaches & blueberry)

1. Melt the stick of butter in a 8X8 baking dish (do this while the oven is pre-heating at 350 degrees)

2. Pour fruit filling or fresh fruit over butter in dish

3. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk and vanilla extract

4. Pour the dough (runny dough) over the fruit and butter

5. Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes @ 350 degrees (poke with fork to check if is baked all the way thru)

May want to serve hot with Ice cream!!!
